About Dr. Beata Filip-Majewski
Dr. Beata Filip-Majewski was born and raised in Poland, where she began her medical education.
After finishing medical school at the competitive Medical University of Lodz, Dr. Majewski continued her education at Berkshire Medical Center (affiliate of the University of Massachusetts), where she completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine.
She completed her fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in 2001. Dr. Majewski is Board Certified in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.
She specializes in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriatic Arthritis. Dr. Majewski has been the principal investigator in over 40 clinical trials.
She lives in Jonesboro with her husband and their three dogs. She enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time at the lake. She also enjoys traveling, especially to see her grown daughters, Karolina and Maja, who both live in Chicago, IL.
