Doing Our Part to Keep You Safe
UPDATED AUGUST 20, 2021
As always, it is our number one priority to keep our patients and staff safe and informed throughout this pandemic. We wanted to share a few updates regarding vaccinations and the CDC guidelines for immunocompromised patients.
1. We are doing our part to keep you safe: Our entire staff is fully vaccinated, and continues to follow the CDC recommendations regarding mask wearing to keep our community safe.
2. The only way to #stopthespread of COVID-19 is for everyone ages 12 and up to get the vaccine.
3. People who are immunocompromised are especially vulnerable to COVID-19 because they are at greater risk of serious, prolonged illness. Also, people who are immunocompromised may not build the same level of immunity with a 2-dose vaccine series.
4. This is why the CDC recommends that people who are moderately to severely immunocompromised receive a third dose of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer) after the initial 2 doses.
We will continue to do everything we can to keep our patients, staff, and the community at large safe during these uncertain times.
